Since the Pill’s inception in 1961, 300 million women have used it. In fact, it is estimated that almost 90% of women have used the Pill at some point in their lives. Currently, 12 million women of childbearing age in the United States use the Pill. Worldwide, the number climbs to 100 million. The Pill comprises a multi-billion dollar industry.

The influx of women taking the Pill has not been without problems. Lawsuits concerning the side effects of the Pill are gaining media attention and the safety of the Pill is being questioned, but a lack of information is prevalent. Most women are simply not aware of the numerous and serious side effects of the birth control pill.

Many have heard of the lawsuits and the tragic stories of women who have died from the pill, but perhaps assume that these are rare cases.  While death is a rare consequence of these drugs, it is far from the only problem.  There are many women who are silently suffering – struggling with emotional changes, relationship problems that were never there before, panic attacks, depression, unexplained pain, allergies, weight gain, fatigue, headaches and much more….what’s worse is that they don’t know why. Additionally, while women are the obvious ones searching for answers when it comes to the Pill, victims of the Pill include so many other people—husbands, boyfriends, children, family members, and friends. This website and forum provides information to women who are suffering from health problems caused by the Pill.
